Soprasolar® fix is a waterproofing system made up of rigid photovoltaic modules designed to produce electricity from sunlight. The photovoltaic modules are clipped into a structure on feet, that is fastened to waterproof panels sealed to the substrate. This complex has been specially developed for rigid modules laid on top of a bilayer or single bituminous membrane with a Technical Approval (from the SOPREMA range), without piercing the waterproofing membrane.

Soprasolar FIX product + crystalline module (rigid technology)

Soprasolar® fix is designed for use on inaccessible flat roofs on bearing structures and substrates in masonry and cellular concrete (slope equal to 1 % or more) or on ribbed steel decks, wood and wood derivative panels (slope equal to 3 % or more), for new build and renovation work, with a slope of 20% maximum.
Soprasolar® fix is ideal for all roofs exposed to solar radiation, such as:

  • Industrial or office buildings.

The system is installed in 3 simple operations:

  1. Lay a waterproofing membrane with a Technical Approval , from the SOPREMA range, in accordance with specifications of the contract.
  2. Place the assembled feet (feet and fixing rails), according to the precise module layout plan, torching the square of waterproofing membrane onto the membrane covering the roof.
  3. Install the modules using an appropriate fastening system.
