Soprasolar® tilt is a waterproofing complex that includes tilted brackets and rigid photovoltaic modules designed to generate electricity from sunlight.

It consists in a structure on brackets, secured to two waterproofing panels sealed to the substrate, on which the photovoltaic modules are fixed with an additional 18° tilt in relation to the plane of the roof.

This complex has been developed especially for installing tilted rigid modules on a bilayer bituminous waterproofing system without piercing the waterproofing, according to the technical evaluation (of the SOPREMA range).

Because the tilt angle maximises the efficiency of the modules, Soprasolar® tilt is ideal for high energy efficiency and positive energy building projects and for self-consumption projects.

Soprasolar® tilt is built so as to eliminate the need for a waterproofing upstand, limiting the risks for the waterproofing of the building.

Soprasolar® tilt is designed for inaccessible flat or sloping terrace roofs on bearing elements and substrates in masonry and cellular concrete or on ribbed steel decks, wood and wood-derived boards, in new constructions and for renovation work.

Soprasolar® fix is ideal for all roofs exposed to solar radiation, such as:
  • Residential, educational, health sector buildings
  • Public buildings
  • Large and medium-sized retail outlets
  • Logistics platforms
  • Industrial or office buildings.

He can be implemented on slopes such as:

  • 1% - 10% on cellular concrete
  • 3% - 10% on ribbed steel decks, wood and wood-derived boards
  • 0% à 10% on masonry

The Soprasolar® tilt system is installed in 3 simple operations:

  1. Lay a waterproofing membrane with a Technical Approval , from the SOPREMA range, in accordance with specifications of the contract.
  2. Place the assembled brackets, according to the precise module layout plan, torching the square of waterproofing membrane onto the membrane covering the roof.
  3. Install the cable channels and the modules using an appropriate fastening system.
